Govinda's appreciated by GBC
The
Govinda’s has a huge dining hall, about 3,500 square feet area. There
are tables of different sizes and shapes – all spotlessly clean. The
firm wooden chairs have a soft cushion and are comfortable, but there
are ultra soft sofas too. There are huge windows decorated by beautiful
deep blue curtains. The ceiling has 6 semi-spherical domes with
paintings of the night sky with the stars and the clouds. The color
combination of the ceiling, the pillars and the walls is lovely,
consisting of light blue, pink and coffee color tinged with the color
of gold. There is a seating capacity of a 114 with about 25 employees
including 4 cooks. There is good response from the local people and the
number of visitors is good especially in the weekends.
Much of
the credit goes to His Grace Radha Vallabh Prabhu, the Govinda’s
manager and a world-class cook. He is assisted by Her Grace Malini
Mataji who oversees the cooking and who is also a renowned cook and by
His Grace Vivasvan Prabhu, who takes care of the purchase. The
Govinda’s hosted a number of visitors from around the world and stands
out as the ideal example of a Krishna conscious restaurant.
